Williamsport, PA — Runners in the Williamsport area will soon have a new way to connect with the local fitness community with the launch of the Lumber Capital Run Club, a free, community-focused running group hosted by Lumber Capital Athletics.
The club is designed to bring runners of all levels together—from beginners looking to start their first running routine to experienced athletes training for races.
The goal is simple: create a consistent place where people can meet, run, and build community around movement. Run club emphasizes accessibility and camaraderie. People are encouraged to join regardless of pace or experience level.
The group will meet every Sunday, starting at noon, at Lumber Capital Athletics, located at 575 East Third Street in Williamsport, a 6,000-square-foot functional training facility that will function as a safe place for runner to drop off their keys and other valuables. Bathrooms will be accessible.
Community members of all ages and running abilities are encouraged to lace up and join the group as it begins building Williamsport’s newest running community—one mile at a time.
